Lorena Štimac is a Croatian interdisciplinary artist, spatial designer, and writer whose practice moves between space, language, publishing, and performance.
With more than ten years of professional experience in spatial and interior design, her practice has gradually expanded towards writing, editorial work, spatial installation, and performance. Her current artistic research focuses on the relationship between the individual and the collective, particularly the tension between autonomy and dependence and the ways in which people are shaped by the spaces, communities, and structures they belong to.
Working through the body, duration, spatial situations, and encounters with others, she explores these relationships as conditions to be experienced and tested rather than simply observed.
